Media trial and conviction must stop

This is very unfortunate trend that there are allegations of corruption and scams with only public debates. No scam or corruption reaches its conclusion with recovery of amount and sentence to guilty. It only serves political purpose and vitiates the atmosphere of the nation. People have lost faith on politicians and media. All this looks cooked up and managed.

To bring out facts and alarm over corruption is good but it should not become only media activity. To eliminate corruption is need of the hour and it should be assigned serious organized effort. All allegations must be taken seriously and a predefined system must follow.

1. We must have independent CBI, Lokpal, CAG, and CVC

2. Media must have elected representatives. Media must declare its objective and unbiased integrity. Both print and electronic media houses should not be allowed to be owned by one person or entity. They should not have any political tilt towards a particular party. Corporate houses should not have majority share in media and should not be allowed to be the head. Since media is fourth estate of democracy and very important one, its core body and management must be elected representatives from public or like IAS & IPS they should be selected through a process.

3. CBI must maintain a website Corruption FIR

Scams since independence and till date


All scams and allegations of past under this must be listed and published online. Thorough investigation must follow and periodically case progress must be uploaded online so that nation is aware of what has been done, procedure followed or not, culprits caught or not. If allegations are found incorrect then on what grounds. It should be allowed to add to this list if someone wish to bring to surface some past wrong doing.

Scams and allegations now on

It should be mandatory for anyone who claims a scam or corruption to follow a procedure. The concerned person must first post his or her complaint on Corruption FIR along with copies of relevant documents or affidavit that these documents being sensitive have been sent to CBI. Once posted that person then can go to media to put forward his or her claim. In case of highly sensitive issue, if that person wish to go to media first then must post Corruption FIR within 72 hours. This should be followed by investigation and conclusion by investigative agency.

4. Fast track investigation and courts

All corruption cases and scams must be investigated within 6 months and case must be completed in next six months. Nation must have conclusion within one year. Any investigation or case going beyond time must automatically get converted into SIT supervised case.

Let things be clear for nation. Either the person or entity is guilty or innocent. Media trial and conviction is bad for democracy. Those guilty must suffer and those innocent must get their name cleared.

Let justice prevail.

Clean up the system

This is very crucial time for nation.

All government agencies must be on high alert and do the clean up act in nation and more so in itself.

A scheme was announced to catch black money and those who are associated with it. Entire nation is for the cause and ready to bear all inconvenience for it. Unfortunately it is being seen that those with black money are using every means to convert their black money notes into new. It is shocking to see how Jewelers, Real Estate Agents, CA, Money Exchange dealers, Sham companies and even Religious Place people are being caught in facilitating this conversion. What is most shocking is when honest common people are struggling to find new notes, corrupt people with black money are changing bulk notes from old to new. These are blacksheeps of society.

The entire purpose of catching black money is getting defeated.

The status is alarming. When every note is counted and well documented right from RBI to bank. How corrupt people are getting bundles of new notes. This is a serious lapse in system. Who is doing this?

It is time for government and government agencies to act quick and tough. They must ensure that all such blacksheeps both within the system be it IT department, ED, politicians, bureaucrats and outside like Jewelers, CA, Real Estate Agents, Money Exchange dealers, Religious places, Sham companies and especially bank officials are thoroughly checked and action taken against wrong doers.

Since this is the till date biggest action against black money, the black activity to bypass this is also big. This is proving a huge loss to nation. Considering the magnitude of black activity there must be thorough investigation supervised by Supreme Court and its SIT to make sure no wrong doer escapes. Every account must be checked and entire black money must be traced through its route to its root.

This is big opportunity for nation to catch the culprits and cleanup the system.

Making economy cashless

Making economy cashless will do good for nation but it should be done as a sustained mid to long term effort.

There can be gain without pain.

Justice says that not a single innocent person should suffer even if hundred culprits escape. Even if single innocent person die due to reform process, it is injustice done. 

Reforms must be gentle on honest and tough on dishonest.

Many things can be done to bring about a change and moving towards making a society free from corruption and black money.

Taxation
-  Reform and simplify taxation.

-  Abolish direct taxes and all other taxes except GST and following. GST should cover all transactions. With this more money will come to bank and will become part of white money circulation.
-  No tax should be more than 10%. Low tax will improve compliance.
-  Wealth tax. This should apply to all movable and immovable assets. This should be collected only once at the time of purchase.
- Custom tax on all goods bought and brought from abroad.
- Single annual Corporate tax for large scale business ( average of 2% of turnover and 10% of profit can be one such formula) 
- Unorganized sector should be issued annual license with nominal fixed charge. These can be further divided Category A, B and C depending on type and place of work, expected turnover, age of person and family background. 
 

Plastic Money and Mobile Wallets

- Government must issue credit and debit card in association with some public sector bank. These credit and debit card should charge fixed one percent that should go to government as service tax. These being cheaper will replace all other credit and debit cards and will raise revenue for government.

- Pre paid money cards like RuPay. These should be freely available at every corner. Any one should be able to exchange cash with these Prepaid RuPay cards by showing Aadhar Card. Card can be punched in that person’s name and all transactions linked. It should be possible to return and get cash back. These cards must be freely available at banks post office, institutes, offices, markets, petrol pumps, railway station, airport, bus terminals, religious places etc.

- Mobile Wallets – Different mobile wallets must be able to send and receive money across each other be it from any bank or private wallet.

- Promote Registered Mobile no and Aadhar Card no linked payment through simple sms and password. Make linking of every mobile number to Aadhar No mandatory. People may have many mobiles but have single Aadhar No so every transaction will get linked.

- There should be no transaction charges while using cards or wallets or any other epayment methods.

Cashless Zones

- With RuPay cards and other options available slowly various zones can be declared as cashless zones. To start with shopping malls, institutes and institutions, airports, railways and bus terminals.

- It should be made mandatory to make all purchases above Rs 5000 only through cheque, epayment or RuPay cards.

- All purchases through cheque, epayment or RuPay cards should get attractive cash back bonus points which should become part of bank account or RuPay account as long term deposit investment.

- It should be mandatory to pay all salaries more than Rs 5000 only through cheques or online transfer.

- Ecommerce websites should not be allowed Cash on Delivery. It can be Card on Delivery be it credit card or RuPay card.

Cash
Only by eliminating higher denomination notes above 100, all goals of cutting down on black money and promotion of cashless economy can be achieved. It will not be convenient for anyone to keep and carry loads of small notes. Small notes can continue to run small scale transactions.

Be careful with national symbols

Do not mess with pride of India. Do not mess with sacred national symbols.

Never think loud is true and strong and silent is weak or false.

There is a growing tendency of chest thumping for nationalism. This is an attitude of Holier than thou. Shouting about national symbols, National Anthem, National Song, National Flag and so on. Even news channels are trying to prove to be patriotic by having loud debates about these sacred national symbols. What kind of nationalism they debate about?

True respect and love does not need loud vocalization. Most of the times such loud vocalization is used to cover up lack of true emotions. True emotions are seen in deeds, not in words. In our culture we respect elders and love children. Unlike many cultures we do not always keep saying 'I Love You'. But over ages we have proved true emotions. On the other hand other cultures with too loud 'I Love You' have proved disaster in emotions and relations.

Respect for nation and national symbols run from top to bottom. People see corrupt politicians, corrupt officials and lack of sincerity towards poverty & crime elimination and development. At the time of independence leaders were honest so nationalism was spontaneous. Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose and such great leaders never had to force anyone to sing National Anthem or salute National Flag. That came from heart and soul.

With due respect to decision by Hon. Supreme Court, we must be very careful with symbols of national pride be it National Anthem National Song or National Flag. Nothing should be done that can in anyway bring down respect and honor.

One can say that playing National Anthem in movie halls, offices is a good decision and will generate spirit of nationalism. But all aspects must be carefully looked into.

- What if people do not show respect, how will we deal with such people? Will there be some punishment?

- Will this move prove good in long run?

- Is it ok to play National Anthem before adult or some cheap explicit movies?

- All schools play National Anthem, so can we say all students post school have high spirit of nationalism?

- If National Anthem and National Song is played in various offices, can we say it will end all corruption? And those who will sing National Anthem and still do corruption, are they not insulting nation?

Question here is compliance or conformity. Compliance itself will not be easy and there is risk of disobedience. How will there be conformity? How will we ensure that there is attitudinal shift and people actually feel connected to nation and national cause.

People should feel for nation. They must feel that only together we can grow and for that we must have true spirit of nationalism which relates to everything - paying taxes, honoring laws, staying away from crimes, helping each other and so on.

Extreme caution must be used. Nothing should be done that instead of creating nationalism goes contrary.

Our National Symbols are sacred and our pride. We must be extremely judicious about them.

Annihilate corruption

Time to annihilate corruption.

This step is a much needed and welcome step. Demonetization must be done correctly along with other steps. You cannot catch a thief with thread, you need web to catch.  

- There should be no amnesty to black money creators and holders. Any such amnesty / pardon is unjust to honest people. Such people with black money are not afraid as they know at the most they will give up some amount and enjoy rest. Their entire money should be confiscated and they should be in jail.

- Strengthen institutions. Free and strong CBI Lokpal CVC CAG Election Commission Police and Judiciary.

- All political parties must get entities registered with all government departments under the head of Political Organization.  They must keep all accounts and disclose all funds to all government departments as well as online. All such political parties must be under RTI as well.

- There must be fast track courts for corruption related cases. 

- At the end of the scheme all black money hoarders including such politicians, bureaucrats, corporate must be disclosed to public. Nation deserve to know who are these people who damage nation.

- Black money is a big task and must involve simultaneous action on its various aspects. Otherwise people tend to find out hidden ways to escape.

- Rs 500 and higher denomination notes must have been scrapped all together. This would have promoted plastic money, app based transfer and account transfer. That would have increased tracking. Keeping 500 and higher denominations alive will lead to same thing again. Rs 100 should be the highest denomination for small purchases.

- Most of the black money is out of nation in bank also as assets. This must be recovered. All such people must be black listed for ever.

- Most internal black money is not in bundles of currency notes; it is in form of gold, property, foreign currency, stock market etc. They must be tracked properly with PAN and Aadhar Card linked. Every jeweler must declare quantity he holds and all transactions. Every bank locker, every property must be PAN and Aadhar linked and must be put online. Foreign currency dealers must be tracked and all transactions must be investigated.

- Agents and hawala dealers must be identified and arrested. Black money going out by hawala must be checked.

- Black money coming back as FDI must be identified, investigated and such people arrested.

- There should be watch on money exchange agents, sham companies and bank accounts not linked to PAN or Aadhar.

- Government or banks must issue digitally verified prepaid money cards which people should be able to buy from any bank or other authorized place by showing Aadhar Card or linking to bank account. These prepaid could be used at any place just like currency.

Nation and people have suffered a lot at the hands of such corrupt people. They must be exposed and severely punished so that no one dares in future.

Lessons to learn

Nation just like people must learn lesson on its way to glory.

Important lessons we can learn from US Elections

- Do not take people for granted. They are fed up with lack of positive action. They need results.

- People are no more loyal to parties. They are not leaning left or right. They want good work from government and leaders.

- People are no more influenced by media and celebrities. They do not go by size of rallies. They do not go by slogans and sweet talk. They have their own mind and decision.

- Do not play divisive politics. This is straight path to destruction of nation.



Lessons are well learned only if they are well implemented. Nation has important lessons to learn - unity and honesty.

Patriotism is for everyone

Do not fight over patriotism. Do not blame or curse each other over patriotism.

Patriotism has many shades. Patriotism is for everyone.

Let us get some facts clear:

- Nation first. Can there be doubt over this. Unless we keep nation and national interest first, we can not survive or make a great nation. Call it love or duty, we need to get united and work towards national interest. Keeping nation safe and united is the first task of every citizen.

- Defense Services. Let again fact be clear. No one except President of India has any right to question defense services. Their valor and sacrifice is paramount. We, the citizens of India, live in gratitude towards our defense services which have not only proven immense courage but also unmatched humanity. If they say they have done it, they have done it. Their word is enough.

- Politics over national interest. Let no one even in dreams think of playing any politics over national interest. Similarly no one should take credit of what defense services have done. People of India are wise enough to see everything clearly and decide. Let us all stand united with our defense services.

- Right to think and question. Every citizen has right to think and question. And it should remain as it is necessary for a strong and vibrant nation. Nation is not strong due to big arms. Nation is as strong as its citizens. People must keep their right to think and question intact. Let no one try to throttle this. But one thing must be kept in might. You have freedom to think, question and express. But you need to be wise and mature enough not to say or do anything that harms nation. Question what is wrong but if you question with some ulterior motive or you say something that hurts nation, then you must rethink about your loyalty towards nation.

- Patriotism. It has many shades. No one should blame others on patriotism. People can be differently patriotic. Some become soldier, some scientist, teachers, philosophers, doctors, engineers, journalist, farmer, laborer or any other. There are many ways of serving nation. We all can contribute. There are some common factors. Be honest with nation. Do not do anything that can harm nation. Remain united. Respect others way to be patriotic.

- Eliminating evils. We all have duty to work with full force to eliminate evil. Today terrorism is biggest evil. It kills innocent people. We must speak and work unitedly to eliminate terrorism. We all must condemn terrorism in all forms present anywhere. Similar big evil is corruption. It too kills innocent people and harms nation. Our patriotism and humanity must work equally strong against terrorism and corruption.

Creating a great nation - some do as love others as duty. Mission is same - Modern Glorified Developed India.

India got task

India has its task cutout. We need to work and work hard with clear cut focus.

We have to fight many tasks ahead -

1. Battle against terrorism and other trouble makers

2. Battle against poverty and corruption

3. To develop positive relations worldwide


The path forward is simple and straight. We already have what is required to achieve our target. Unlike others who play hidden coward game of terrorism or other ways of creating internal disturbances, we can win with all legitimate and correct ways. We need to play on our strengths. And our strengths are -

- Our big population

- Our democracy

- Our values

We must realize that business is the game of new world.

We need to learn two things - to negotiate and to do business. This we can do only if we realize our own worth. We are not at a position of weakness. On the contrary we are at the position of strength.

Furthers steps are simple execution of these two -

1. Manufacture products with low cost and these must be of good quality. The factor that will determine winner or loser is quality.

2. Invite big international companies with attractive terms to set up business in India and for domestic consumption and export. Make in India must become efficient pathway for this.

3. Create consistent policies so that these companies can come with confidence.

4. Control corruption and create efficient and transparent system.

5. Create international awareness at grassroot level about India, its value based development and commitment to quality & efficiency. 

6. India can and must become world's no one spot for travel and tourism. For this we must create and develop attractions and ensure safe and joyous travel.

7. Do not get affected by mind games of other nations. Realize own worth and negotiate from position of strength.

India was always and will always be for peace.   And our peace is peace with courage.

We do not wish to harm anyone. We are more than willing to cooperate and support others. But we are not ready to allow any bad intention towards us. 

So let not one get confused.

- Stop hurting India

- Stop funding anti India activities

- Stop doing things that hurt sentiments of people of India

- Stop sending terrorist or other trouble makers

- Stop having an eye on Indian territory

- Give back our land

And you will have a good friend in India.

We always welcome peace talk. We uphold peace as highest virtue. But that can happen only if genuine efforts are there from the other side as well.

Those who are genuinely interested in peace must note that their efforts are not wrong. There is nothing wrong in having peace conference, cultural exchange, sports or other mutual activities. But that must bring about result. We have tolerated much more than necessary. But all our efforts of peace and confidence building have not been respected. On the contrary we were stabbed in the back. Peace like trust is also mutual.

Some people are running away from responsibility towards nation and humanity by saying keep us away. How ungrateful and inhuman that is. Nobody is away. This is fight for or against humanity. Soldiers are dying for you. We do and must condemn terrorism of all kinds at all places where ever. They are killing innocent people. When we say that this world in now One World One People, then how can you say keep us away. For money people seek support and show how connected they are. And when it comes to humanity and responsibility, they say keep us away. This can not be. No fence sitting. Either you are against terrorism or for it. If you are against then there should be no problem in condemning it. That is no favor but a duty. Ideally it should come straight from heart and soul. But atleast do it as duty. Your silence even on asking is direct support to terrorism. You are safe because of sacrifice of those who are fighting against terrorism. Your existence today is because of their ultimate sacrifice. How shameful it is to survive on their sacrifice and run away from least possible duty of condemning it.

Sending terrorist and killing innocent citizens or creating internal trouble is never unintentional. All this is happening by intention. This is the main reason why our peace efforts were not respected. This is the reason such peace conferences are not proving helpful. Such nations must correct intention first. They must give up greed and hatred. The moment they do this, all peace efforts will start blossoming.

Onus now is on such nations. If they realize and accept what wrong they are doing for decades, it will show in events to follow. There will be peace then. But if they continue to hurt then India is ready to defend self and punish.

India is on path to create the world of future. Choice is yours.

We are indeed the best nation

Everyone love own nation and feels that is the best nation. That is natural. Loving your motherland is good.

We, the people of India, too love our nation. We have some unique specialties which make India the greatest nation on earth. But some of us fail to appreciate this. They feel it is modest to see what is not so good. True, looking at self with honesty is fine. We have some issues where we need to work better. That does not mean we need to feel bad about our nation and say bad things. Such attitude has only made others say bad things which are mostly away from reality. Some nations boast of might some richness some big size. We hold a unique position of greatness. We have them all and much more.

- Some nations feel good about size and might. Nation is not great due to size or might. Even then we are big enough and mighty enough to take on evil designs of wrong doers.

- Some nations feel good about money power. We may not be richest but we are one of the biggest economy and doing well in economy when others are struggling.

- We are the biggest and most vibrant democracy. Time and again people of India have shown how mighty they are by using their right to self determination. A nation is no nation if it has no democracy, if it does not trust its own people and give them right to self determination.

- We are flag bearers of humanity. We have always upheld principles of humanity like peace, brotherhood, cooperation, supporting world peace, eliminating world poverty and diseases. We have contributed and worked hard in UN in its peace keeping forces and its all other welfare activities. This has been done without selfish interest. We have respected and taken along smaller nations.

- We are not aggressors, never attacked any other nation. We have one of the mightiest defense force which works more for peace. We have not occupied any other nation or part of it.

- We do not create and support terrorism even after suffering from it. We are trying hard to create awareness in world about this evil and its danger to world survival.

- We are flag bearers of spirituality. We have given the gift of Yoga, Meditation, Spirituality, Wisdom,  Peace, Compassion and Love to the world. Humanity can not survive without these.

- We have the strong foundation of great ancient civilization. No other nation has this rich heritage.

- We have the most diverse population in terms of language and religion. When others struggle to create diversity, we have this rich diversity for ages. We have rich diversity of culture, art, music, dances, food and lifestyle.

- We have worlds largest skilled population including Teachers, IT, Medical, Engineers, Scientists and others. We have one of the most successful space program.


Nation is greatest and we will keep it so.

Make nation clean and beautiful

Clean India is first step.

We must take it further and make our nation clean and beautiful.

Only making nation clean is not sufficient. It must become beautiful as well. Every city every village every river every building every monument every street every locality every park every house must take up this task of becoming clean and beautiful.

We must add color and creativity to nation's appearance.  This can be done best with nature. Having more trees, flowers, green grass can create unmatched beauty. Even this requires skill and creativity. How we create parks and gardens can be one example. These can be done with more creativity with the play of colors, shapes to make them more aesthetic. Similar touch can be given to every street and every place. More than money, this requires intention, passion, skill and effort.

We can also create beauty by making aesthetic buildings and using colors and shapes to make them look good. Regular care is necessary because making something beautiful  is one thing, real thing is keeping it beautiful year after year.

People can also add to beauty by having better dressing sense and by becoming more fit. Wearing clean clothes is good so is wearing clothes with good dressing sense. People must pay attention to what they are wearing. No need to spend a lot. It is not about modern dressing or conservative dressing. Both can be clean and aesthetic. We must give up casual approach towards dressing.

Cleanliness and beauty must become a matter of self respect. We must have high quotient of self respect before we command from others.

Change can come. Slow change is also ok but it should be in right direction. Direction and determination will see us through.

Defeating evil designs of rogue nations

People of India are angry and rightly so.

India has been time and again attacked directly and indirectly. Evil designs of some neighboring countries are well exposed. They are rogue nations and it would be futile to expect value based behavior from them. We have to develop sound strategies and strength to defeat their evil designs. We need not talk about revenge or war. War would be too easy punishment for them. These rogue nations will destroy themselves. We will for sure take revenge of killing of our people but our revenge should be making our nation so safe, strong and developed that they can not even think of doing any harm. We owe this to nation and especially to those children who lost their father in these cowardly acts.

We pledge to make India safest strongest and most developed nation.

We need to do following:

- Do not think in terms of war. Channelize this anger in making nation more safe, strong and developed. We can continue to be on our core path of Non Violence shown by Mahatma Gandhi and still make nation such mighty that send chills in spine of such rogue nations.

- Give strength to defense services. They must be modernized and should have best of the training facility. They must have latest technological equipment and support.

- Remain on High Alert. Enhance vigilance. This should be biggest weapon.

- Secure borders and nation entry points. 

- Keep exposing their evil designs internationally.

- Internal watch. Identify and check those from within who directly or indirectly sympathize and support anti national activities. Social Security Card must be issued and such elements should not be allowed to live free and cause harm to nation.

- People of India must take the lead. We must boycott products from these rogue nations. People must end personal, business or any other relation as a mark of protest against doing harm to our nation. Some may say this is not right and we must continue visiting them and using their products. But this attitude has encouraged them to keep on harming us. Why use product of those who are responsible for killing our people and doing harm to us? We must completely boycott them till they change their deeds. If people from these nation wish to visit our nation, let them visit and see that unlike their nation, ours is a successful nation which is humanity and value based. Let people of these nation feel ashamed of their nation which either do not have democracy or have it just for namesake. Their nation is a blot on humanity. Ours is flag bearer of humanity. We are the real world leader in both might and spirit. We must do this till they give up their evil attitude against us and also give us back part of our motherland occupied by them.

It all comes down to commitment. Their commitment is evil. Our commitment is human spirit. We will for sure win.

National Social Security Card

India must adopt National Social Security Card for every citizen. In many ways it will help in internal management.

This card must be a digital chip card issued by the government and should have option of access and update at government recognized center and government websites.

These card must be issued to only those adult citizens who take Pledge of Nationalism and pledge abide by the Constitution of India.

Those indulging in anti national activity must not be issued this card or get their card blocked.

This card must be made mandatory for availing all utility service including banking, electricity, water, new or renewal of driving license, air and train travel, buying and selling of property, making any kind of investment or buying stock, admission in any institute etc.

Card must have complete details of the person:

- Name
- Any name change
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Parents name
- Name of Spouse
- Birth Certificate
- Address current and history of earlier
- Phone numbers
- Email Id
- Finger prints
- Retina and Iris scan
- Voice scan
- Signature, current and history of earlier
- Marriage status and certificate
- PAN card
- Driving license
- Passport
- Voters card
- Aadhar card 
- History of criminal record if any
- History of financial default


Benefits of this card will be many: 
- Check on anti national activity
- Check on crimes and frauds
- Tracking of doubtful elements of society

Way to win is energy

We play to play and we also play to win.

But why nation is so loud on medal win and not on ground preparations? Appreciating winners is good but it should not be out of proportion. Why showering money on winners? Why not spend this money on ground preparation and provide grounds and sporting facility to children. 

Many people are feeling sad and frustrated why we are not winning medals. Others are saying no need to feel frustrated, we are playing so that is good.

Indeed.

True there is no point in blaming sportsperson. They are doing their best. We all honor and salute their effort and spirit. If taking part is enough then all is well. But if we need to play and win too then we must sincerely look into what why how of issue.

Some say we are not a sporting nation. Why? Is there something bad in being a sporting nation? Is there any doubt in capacity or ability? What is the reason - policy, infrastructure, facilities, training or lack of talent?

One major difference to note is the difference in energy levels. Players look stressed, tired and unfit. Compare with those winning. They look exuberant with energy.

You do not win when you play to win, you win when you play for excellence. 

Lack of talent can not be the reason. Nature is not partial to bless one nation and not other. One can blame policy, infrastructure, facilities and training. This is factor but this alone can not explain the condition. There are many simple ways to reach high levels of performance.



1. Start early - Catch them young. School is the one simplest way to pick up. Time spent at school must be judiciously utilized. A simple way of doing it is 50% time in academics, general awareness and related topics 25% in culture, music and arts and 25% in sports. This 25% in arts and sports can be flexible to accommodate more time required in individual case. Schools should have basic facility and safety measures to nurture talent. This school time should not become a mere formality but should be well supervised.

2. NTS - There should be National Talent Search in sports. Young kids from across the nation must be identified and nurtured. They should form the pool target of 10 - 15 years of training.

3. Diet - There are many low cost food options which can provide necessary proteins and other body needs.

4. Fitness - The basic element required is fitness. Only muscle building is not sufficient. It should have all elements of strength stamina flexibility endurance and agility. This too can be achieved with low cost options.

5. Yoga - Yoga is not only for fitness. It can help in alignment of mind and body and takes self to excellence.

6. Selection - There must be a body of past sport-persons to look into and make sure only deserving go higher. There should be no corruption or favoritism in selection. There should be one event in which challengers must be allowed to compete first among themselves and then with selected candidates to ensure fair selection.

7. Passion - Let sport become part of being. Families must ensure not to discourage children. More than win or loss it should become way to excellence. It should create joy in life.

When sport will become way of life, energy will speak in excellence and yes, medals too.

National agency to stop crime against women

What kind of nation we are building? People buying and distributing actual rape videos. How shameful and disgusting. Can a society go lower than this.

Why this does not raise a storm? Why people are not shaken? Are we completely spineless now? How is this going on? Why no strict action has been taken?

India is proud to have saffron color in national flag. This color represents valor and sacrifice. This color represents fight against injustice. This color represents high ideals and values. We talk about our brave soldiers, freedom fighters and other brave men who have done India proud. We have large brigade of heroes who have always shown courage to uplift humanity. But what has happened to everyone? Where has all that courage gone?

Every year we celebrate Rakshabandhan a festival of love between brothers and sisters. But where is that love now? Where are all the brothers? Why they can not save their sisters? Why they can not save this disgusting trade of rape videos?

This is not a small matter. This will have serious effect on mindset of people. This will lead to development of coldblooded criminals. This represents the growing psyche of people which tells what has happened to our moral values. Rape is worse than murder. What kind of humans we are becoming when we are getting pleasure out of someone's screams. And what kind of nation we have become when we are just seeing this another news item? Can we call our self human beings?  Do we have have any conscience left? Can we tolerate this and still call our self proud citizens of great nation?

Rise and stop this if we do not want to be called inhuman cowards by coming generations. Those selling such videos must get death sentence and those who keep and distribute too must get severe punishment. Every police station must be instructed to make sure that no such activity should take place in their area. In some officials are found involved in allowing or being soft on such elements then they should be immediately sacked and strict action must be taken against them.

It would be better to declare following crimes at par with terrorism and have national agency automatically handling such cases and tried in fast track courts. These crimes

- Drug dealing
- Crime against women
- Crime against children

We have this responsibility to stop this at once. If we miss then we will be responsible for a society dominated by crimes.

India Development Fund

India lives on philosophy of Vasudev Kutumkabakam. Then why should citizens of India die of hunger and lack of treatment.

With a trillion dollar economy, it should not be difficult for India to eliminate excess poverty especially in providing basic amenities like food healthcare education and shelter so that every citizen of India can live and make effort for better living.

For this we can create one India Development Fund. A mass movement.

It should be a nationwide volunteer based organization. People must be encouraged to contribute to it. It must be a thoroughly audited fund to make sure:

- There is transparency and no misuse of fund
- It should start helping the least privileged.
- It should not just provide but help in making the person and family self reliant.
- It should remain non political.

Celebrities and media must help more.
Celebrities and media are not doing enough. Celebrities and media can play a much bigger role in nation building than done today. They are not utilizing their energy and potential in nation building. In addition to contributing to this fund, they can make this popular among masses and encourage people to contribute. They can organize mass events a part of earning going to this fund.

Corporates
Corporates too must contribute and support. It is common around the world for big corporates going for philanthropy. In India too some has occurred but that is too small or isolated. This must happen regularly and on large scale.

Fund raising
Once this IDF start showing results it will be easy to raise big funds.

Methodology
Self reliance should be the mantra. People should be helped as a short term strategy to take them out of extreme poverty and distress. IDF should work on skill development and work on small scale business, cottage industry, part time jobs, incentive based volunteer work and local financial model.

Being driven by both prominent people of the society and masses, IDF will have the energy, the mass base and the purpose to help nation in eliminating poverty within a short duration.

National Water Policy

This is desperate situation now. More than 25% nation under drought. Nation is suffering heavily. People have no water even for basic needs, crops are affected, farmers committing suicide. Situation has become alarming.

Water is basic need for every living being. With situation as bad as it is now, we must immediately put National Water Policy. We must understand and accept -

Every drop is important

We must focus on following to increase our water resource.

1. Rain water harvesting
We must try to make best use of rains. Rain water harvesting must be mandatory nationwide. It must be done at various level. At household level by individuals, at colony level by RWA's and bigger reservoirs at village and city level. Every village and city must have target of water self reliance. Only after best self effort village or city must seek water support from elsewhere.

2. Save water
Water is scarce. We can not allow wastage. Every citizen must take pledge to save water and use it sensibly. Water usage must get defined. Every household must get a fixed amount of water depending on how many people live in that dwelling. Institutes, offices, hospitals must get water on priority based on importance. Places of high water consumption like hotels and shopping malls must also get fixed amount of water. There should be heavy tax on high users. Any event or activity requiring big quantity of water must seek prior permission from local administration with expressed permission to use fixed quantity of water.

3. Ground water
Every effort must be made to save and enhance ground water. Digging must be restricted. Rain water harvesting must be utilized to increase ground water. Some trees deplete ground water therefore those must be avoided.

4. Protect water
Sometimes it is the contamination of water which makes it unusable. There must be strict check on what is causing such contamination. Industries causing such contamination must be checked and helped to eliminate contamination by having proper waste management. Water treatment units must be raised to make water free of contamination.

5. Waste water management
Waste water is not waste. It can be recycled to make it usable. It can also be used in different forms.

6. River management
Rivers are lifelines. Rivers must be protected any any activity harming river must be punishable. Every river throughout its course must be developed as a project in a time bound manner. It should be saved from contamination. Nation must work rapidly on river grid and river canals to lay down nationwide network of water channels.

7. Flood management
Flood is typical example showing that water is not being managed correctly. On one hand flood should not occur if we protect our rivers. In addition excess rain can be used as an opportunity to save water for other times for other regions.

8. Help thy neighbors
Every region or state can help neighboring state. We must develop state to state water transportation facility to transport water in case of immediate need. In this manner excess rainfall of one region can be of much use for other regions.

9. Sea water management
With technology getting better we can convert sea water to usable water. With this we can bring large reservoir of water into usable water chain.


We need strong resolve and regulations to make water management high in nations list of priorities. Let there be zero tolerance against water wastage. Let no living being suffer due to lack of this basic necessity.

Let there be transparency and accountability

Blame game has become a new norm and this is bad for nation.

It is becoming a trend. People suffer, nation suffers but all we do is a big blame game. Be it administration, governments, politicians, media, police or citizens in general. Instead of taking responsibility and working towards betterment, we start blaming each other.

One can take any happening for example. Be it natural disaster like floods or drought, man made disaster like fire or stampede, corruption, riots, terrorism, social harmony or other similar difficulties faced by nation. All we do - blame. This is not how we make a nation. 

We must understand that blame game will only create negativity. It will only make situation worse. And it only acts like rubbing salt on wounds of suffering people. Just think of people suffering due to scarcity of water or farmers dying due to poverty or women getting raped during riots or agitation and those responsible for making condition better are blaming each other. Nothing can be more cruel.

We must create a system so that :
- There should be continuity of relief and development work. It should not get affected with government change.
- There should be well defined coordination among various government departments and administration.
- There should be well defined coordination between states.
- There should be well defined priorities based on peoples need and suffering.
- Relief work must be time bound and result based.
- Those suffering must have option to seek courts help to make sure relief is up-to the mark.
- There should be option of heavy compensation to people if there is laxity and negligence.
- There should be heavy fine on those found responsible for such laxity and negligence.

We all must give up this rising tendency of playing blame game. We need to put up united effort to eliminate suffering of people and make life better. Let us not blame others but see WHAT I CAN DO FOR MY NATION.

Consistency of the system is necessary

We must have a system that is effective efficient and consistent.

Discipline is key to development of a nation. And it always flow from top to bottom in society. Those at higher level should be the role models and lead by example. System must be cautious not to do anything that presents as if system was lenient towards high and mighty. This causes frustration among common people and they too lose respect for system.

Two recent examples did just that. Nation and common citizens were let down by these. They belong to two extremes of human life. Spiritualism and materialism.

There is nothing wrong in organizing any cultural event. It is good for society. Culture binds us, helps in evolution and motivates towards higher purpose of life. But those claiming to be spiritual must be extra cautious. They are role models. They should not do anything to harm environment. They should honor rules and regulations with more willingness. Why not take prior all permissions? Why use public money and government system on private event? Why event can not take place in any stadium after paying rent of it? Why insist on making it huge and bother entire city with traffic jams and pollution? Is this how we teach others how to live?

Similarly doing business is fine. It helps society and nation in growth. Business persons are also role models for society. But how business is done shows one is a true business person or a manipulator who is using loopholes in system to grab money? Enormous amount of nations money has been siphoned out by such defaulters. Is this not a kind of cheating, a kind of dacoity? System must be extra cautious in handling such manipulators. People should not get this feeling that they are being helped or allowed. Nation is facing challenges, farmers are dying of hunger and such people are running away with loot.

If we wish to establish our nation as strong developed and glorified, then we need to first create an effective, efficient and consistent system.

Let no one deceive nation by act of commission or omission.

Nationalism is not complicated

Strange that nationalism is being projected as some complicated subject. It is simple.

The moment you think speak and act considering welfare of nation and its people in mind - that is nationalism.

It is possible that for different people have different ways but there can not be any contradiction. Such contradiction will arise only if selfish motive plays underneath. This can explain everything - tolerance & intolerance, freedom of expression, respect for national flag, need for activism and everything.

A common sense question - Why do we need agitation for making a better brighter nation? This is our own nation, our own government and establishment. There can be few problems or deficiencies but for that anarchy is not the solution. We need not fight against each other. We all need to come together to make the system better which can effectively and efficiently work towards welfare of people of the nation. There is a senseless concept of anti establishment. Mere shouting slogans or creating anarchy is not activism. They must ask themselves - Have they done something real for welfare of real needy people? No, then this activism is only serving romanticism, ego satisfaction of their own selfish motive. Establishment is everywhere. Even those who shout slogans against establishment are part of some establishment. They are part of some group or organization or political party. Don't they need order and system in their own group even if their group has some flaws. Chaos is no remedy. Everyone must work towards making system better. Become honest administrators, lawyers, doctors or even join political system to work on making system better. But yes that is tough path and requires strong character, honesty and relentless effort. Oh yes, if looking for easy shortcut then shouting slogans and stopping trains is much easier.

Why should educational institutes become center of politics? Why indulge in politics at the cost of tax payer's money? There is no harm being a thinking intellectual. But prime purpose of student life and educational institutes is education and it should remain so. Herd psychology of any type is not intellectualism. Students can complete education and then if they wish can do social work or political work according to their ideology. But till in institute they must focus on education.

And if universities do not wish police to enter there, then it is the combined responsibility of university administration and students to make sure that no anti nation activity takes place there. Raising anti nation slogans is as bad as act of terrorism. That is not freedom of expression. One can criticize government on policies and ineffectiveness. But one can not raise anti nation slogans. Any person who is honest with nationalism will neither do so or will tolerate anyone else doing so. Remember what one speaks it is the link between thinking process and deeds. So anti nation words and slogans tells about thinking process and deeds. Forget about die hard patriot, even ordinary person can not and should not tolerate anything against nation - thoughts words and deeds. Similarly government and those running the system must be very careful in not doing anything which affects or harm innocent person. Because such acts and incidents raise doubt about the system which is detrimental for nation.They must realize the responsibility they have in maintaining sanctity of the system.

Time has proved that India has adopted the golden middle path. This is good for growth and prosperity on one hand and welfare of all sections of society on other hand. There is nothing wrong with the ideology. Yes we need to work hard and together in improving the system. We need to work to eliminate corruption, poverty, discrimination and other evils. For that we need to join and work with system, not against it.

Nationalism is always relevant and is totally uncomplicated. Question is - Are we honest about it?

- What is right and good for nation
We must be clear about what will make India modern dynamic and strong nation. Nation must develop a clear cut future vision. We must shed our differences and selfish narrow interest. Be it law or culture, we must look ahead towards India of modern times. 

- There must be order.
Why there are conflicts about whose work is it? There must be well defined system in place. Every required and done action must be put online. Let people see if a particular department has acted according to norm or not. Why everyone has to come and fight on TV and defend. Either things are done according to norm or not done, there should be no scope of confusion or blame game.


- Justice
Society can thrive only on fairness and justice. For this we need to give power to positive people. We must identify spotless honest and sincere people who are ready to dedicate life in nation building without political affiliation. Such people must be given power to direct the course of nation. Such people must look after every village town and city. These people must be given task to oversee that things are in order or not. These people must generate feeling of nationalism free from group or sect or political affiliation. These people must ensure a culture of fairness and justice along with ensuring helping the system in becoming effective and efficient.

- Harmony
We must be careful about anything that creates any kind of difference among citizens of India. Be it gender religion caste color region language economic or social status or political affiliation. We must have feeling of one nation. Any incident or attempt to disrupt this feeling of oneness must be nipped in bud. There should be no debate on tolerance or intolerance. Tolerance is essence of India and will remain. To preserve tolerance is responsibility of entire nation. Any word or act which is against tolerance must be condemned and stopped by entire nation without leaving scope of debate on who protested when.

- Poverty
We need to work day and night to eliminate poverty. Any death or suffering due to poverty is blot. We must ensure basic life amenities like shelter nourishment education and healthcare to all. Focus must be there on skill training and employment generation. We must look for revival of small scale industries and cottage industry. Agriculture must be major focus. Nation must understand that with farmers dying, there won't be sufficient food. Agriculture revival can help in quick elimination of poverty.

- Tourism
India is sitting on gold mine and doing nothing. We have huge tourism potential but no significant work is done in this. We must ensure development in all types of tourism - Nature, Historical and Spiritual Tourism. Just for example sopt in Kurukshetra Haryana has big potential where Lord Krishna gave Geeta Gyan can be developed with scene of Mahabhartha along with big statue of Krishna and Arjuna. This place can be developed to have spiritual discourses and events with good hotels around so that people from around the world can come and see the place where Geeta Gyan was given. There are numerous such spots in India. We must progress further in Medical Tourism. In addition we must develop modern tourism spots with new architectural marvels. Tourists must have great experience of India. Their travel, safety and other aspects must be best in the world.

- Children
Are we doing enough for children? Physical health, Emotional health, Intellectual development, Creativity, Leadership, Life skills, Gender sensitization are important in developing holistic personality and bright citizens.

There is only one possible solution. And this can be done peacefully. Only thing to be kept in mind by everyone is peace and welfare of people.

Solve Kashmir and Terrorism with strength and self respect:

-  Follow the path of Mahatma Gandhi. Be peaceful but persistent with the goal. India should not forget the powerful truthful peaceful persistent effort shown by Mahatma Gandhi.

- Abolish Article 370.

- No talks or any dealing with Pakistan and China till they give up Occupied Territory of India. They must realize their wrong doings and be fair to give up occupied territory of India.

- No talks with any group in Kashmir. There are only citizens. There are no groups.

- Enhance and monitor welfare schemes so that the benefit reaches people of Kashmir. Welfare of people of state must be the prime focus.

- Within time frame of six months help Kashmiri Pundits to regain place where they belong. Anyone from nation be allowed to buy and create home in Kashmir.

- Every citizen must have Social Security Card with details if indulging in illegal or anti nation activity. Such people should be dealt with strictly.

- Give one final opportunity to all to take initiative and come forward for talk about peace and solution. But this should not involve any other nation. This is within nation.

- Spread this word that peaceful talks and peaceful protests are acceptable. But anyone who go on path of violence should be shot at sight. They must be given final warning that they should shun the path of violence or else they will be treated just like terrorist.

- Our Defense Services are fully capable of handling such bad elements. We all trust and respect them. They will do what is to be done.

- Let us enhance our internal security with higher training, latest technology, higher intelligence to spot and punish wrong doers.

- Seal borders completely so that no terrorists infiltrate.

- Nation must stay united. This is our biggest strength. Let us crush every evil design of any division on lines of region, religion, caste, language and even political party. We are one. No one should question nationalism of others. Views may differ but we all are one with our mother land. 

- Be strong and resolute in approach. No compromise on India and on life of People of India. 

Kashmir belongs to people of India and there should be no confusion about that.
