Adultery is crime and will always be

A wrong judgement has come.

Unfortunately it is being hailed by many including news channels.

Some people are calling it progressive. It is seen as victory of women and it is said that with this judgement women cease to be slaves of men.

How??

And people say it was too old to survive. Really??

Anything wrong with law was only one - it was not gender neutral. If adultery is crime it should be equally for both men and women.

Adultery is crime and will always remain so.

Point no 1.
It is not a crime. - Adultery amounts to cheating and cheating is always a crime be it money or trust. Infact cheating of trust is a bigger crime. It is not about morality, it is about crime of cheating.

Point no 2
It has freed women. - This is most strange. How it has freed women. Freed for what - adultery? Women are already free with all constitutional rights. They need good education so that they are independent. That is freedom. It is senseless to believe that adultery is freedom.

Point no 3
It is love over morality. - Is it? First of all success of marriage is based on trust and faithfulness. If a man or woman is not happy in marriage, they must first take divorce and then pursue their love (or lust which is the real cause of adultery in most cases). Love can never be in contradiction with morality. Those who feel it is have neither understood love nor morality.

Point no 4
It was too old law. - It is not necessary all that is old is now wrong and must be overturned. Love trust faith honesty truthfulness were always necessary for humanity and will always remain so. They will never go old.

Those who are happy with verdict must understand that marriage is a relationship which is based on trust and faith. Entire family depends on it. It is the foundation of human civilization. Those who are not capable of taking up responsibility should not enter it. Or if you have entered it by mistake then have courage - take divorce first and then go with person of choice.

Do not be a coward of staying in marriage and indulging in adultery.

Do not confuse love with lust. Do not make love an excuse for adultery and lust. We are land of true love. No love can be bigger than Radha Krishna.

It seems people do not have courage for true love. Because true love does not create cowards, it creates courage.

True love, courage, honesty, truthfulness - it seems it is too much asking in today's world.

Save India from Zero Water

Wake up before it is too late.

Day is not far from being too late....

Huge population and poor management is pushing our nation to dangerous state of water scarcity. Sad part is:
- this is self made
- this is totally manageable

But for that we need to think and to do some real effective work. Mere forming policies and raising slogans or running campaigns on TV will not help. Danger is right there and we better do something, now.

First thing to do is to shed callous attitude. Danger is:
- real and has capacity to put nation and citizens life at risk
- approaching fast
- solution will not happen in a short period of time

Water management
Some of the points we all know. But where is the implementation?
- Water must be conserved
- Water should not be wasted
- Rivers and other water bodies must be protected and saved from pollution
- We need more forests and trees
- Global warming must be stopped

Apart from this there is one big solution and is raining from sky.

We must urgently adopt 100% rain water harvesting. It is sad to see a nation facing water crisis on one hand is facing floods and water logging on the other hand. One situation is solution for other situation. Every drop of rain water must be saved. This one step can save us from crisis. Every person must contribute in this. Every house, building, locality must have fool proof rain water harvesting system so that every drop of rain is saved and channelized into ground water which can be used as per need.

And this Rain Water Harvesting can save from water logging during rain that results in huge traffic jams.

We are running out of time. Do it now as no one has ever survived without water.

Let there be fair government after election

After every election nation watches with pain the bitter fight and manipulation played by political parties to secure a majority. This is contrary to spirit of democracy and casts a damaging spell on citizens mind and soul.

There must an open, transparent and systematic way to handle this.

This can be done in following manner:

1. After election result day, there should be mandatory assembly session very next day.

2. It should not be upto governor to call anyone to prove majority. Also no one should be made chief minister at this stage.

3. Protem speaker should be from single largest party.

4. Assembly session must be under supervision of Supreme Court observers and should be telecast live on national television.

5. There should be first proposal from single largest party and second proposal from second single largest party or group. Second proposal must be presented in case of first getting defeated. Voting must be held for both. 

6. The winner must be invited to elect chief minister and form government.


In addition to this, everyone involved politicians, media and others must maintain decency. We must not forget electing a government is to serve people, not to get power. So there is no need to get bitter or show contempt to others. We must recall how Mahatma Gandhi fought even against Britishers. He never showed any indecency or contempt even though they were invaders. He only asked for nation's right to independence. He disobeyed bad laws but never showed any bitterness. Now we are showing hatred, contempt and bitterness against our own people. We are brothers and sisters and nation is strong only till we are one. We should not do anything that creates division and bitterness in society. Before we call ourself nationalist we must learn to behave like one. Mere chest thumping is of no use.

We have accountability towards nation and those who believe in this will never say or do anything against fellow citizens.

EVM or ballot paper

There is a rising concern about justification of using EVM machines in elections.

Concerns are because of two main factors - manipulation and malfunction. Concerns are valid because entire election process and infact entire democracy and nation's destiny depends on free and fair elections.

On the other hand there are points in favor of EVM and against ballot paper. Major points are cost effectiveness and safety from rigging.

So what is better?

What is at stake is huge. Elections can change course of nation and people's life. Cost effectiveness can be dismissed as this expenditure is correct and useful to conduct proper elections.

Elections must be free and fair and also beyond doubt or suspicion.

Major point against ballot is possibility of rigging and bogus voting. To solve this following can be done to make election fool proof.

- Elections by ballot paper

- Bio-metric scrutiny of voter to prevent bogus voting

- Voter verification time must be noted at booth to enable catching bogus voter

- CCTV in election booth with complete vigilance to see there is no bogus voting and rigging of booth. There must be a vigilance team along with representatives of parties watching CCTV to make sure no rigging taking place. In case of rigging, the particular booth or place election must be cancelled and re-election done under higher security. This will prevent any possibility of booth capturing and rigging.

Free and fair suspicion free election process is the root of democracy. It must be guarded with sacred attitude by people of India and supported by Election Commission, Government and Judiciary.

Are we learning

Growth is possible only through learning. Problems will come but they must lead to learning and betterment. Or they will keep on occurring.

1. Scams

This is not the first scam. Time and again corrupt have looted nation and tax payers money. Why system is not evolving. When one scam comes to light why a system scan is not run to cross check other wrong doings. Why scams are caught only after they cross thousands of crores. Why such people find it so easy to flee. Point is - are we learning?

2. Kashmir

Indeed our neighbor is causing trouble but we can do few things to stop that. Their main motive is to provoke. We should act firm but should not fall in their trap. We must not cross LOC as this is exactly what they want that we keep crossing LOC and they present to world as victims. We must do following to defeat their evil design
- Let army do the work. They know best how to deal with situation.
- Improve intelligence and act fool proof on inputs.
- Tone down discussion on Kashmir especially on TV channels. Do not allow people from neighboring nation to lecture us on Kashmir. Stop excessive bitter debates on TV.
- Politicians must avoid giving statements on Kashmir.
- We need not say Kashmir is ours. It is as ours as any other state.
- Government must always keep option of talks open with everyone. Talk about peace, how to improve relation etc. But there must never be any talk on Kashmir. Kashmir is not negotiable. Pakistan and China must vacate part of India they have occupied.


3. Media

News channels are doing big disservice to nation. Everyday they indulge is bitter senseless debates. They are creating divide in society. And worse is they show clear political affiliation by cursing one party and saving other. This is damaging nation. Media must be politically neutral. Healthy debates are good for nation. But debates must be focused on problems and solutions. They should not be platform to settle political scores.


Are we learning as a nation? Or we are repeating patterns and mistakes. We must be honest about this.

Nation must stand firm

The evil designs of neighboring nations are at play. There are provocations and killing of innocent people.

This is the time to shed all differences. We may have different thoughts, we may support different political parties. But when it comes to nation, when it comes to our soldiers - tell them we are one.

We will speak in one voice. We indeed are very angry about our soldiers are being killed. We will unite even stronger and support our government in dealing with the situation strongly.

We wish to tell our neighbors. Every citizen of India is a soldier.

Let all of us where ever, in which ever profession, let us join hands and tell our army that we are with you. Your sacrifice is not in vain.

We will defeat enemies by all means.

- I pledge to fully support my government in dealing with enemy.

- I pledge my full support to our defense services.

- I pledge to stay united with fellow countrymen and speak against enemy in one voice.

- I pledge to defeat every evil design by enemy against my country.


We are in debt of our soldiers. We too can play our part by staying united, living an honest life with commitment to make our nation strong and glorified. And that will be real defeat of enemy.

Healthcare for all

Healthcare for all is a welcome step.

Health and education are two most basic needs of every human being as are food and shelter. It is necessary for state to take care of all citizens.

But there is a big risk too.

The way it is proposed, there is huge risk of corruption affecting this and costing nation. It can prove a major trap.

- Benefits may not reach real needy
- Scheme can be misused by big hospitals, insurance firms and middleman
- Misuse can lead to higher premium which can prove too costly for nation

Biggest drawback is nation is not building anything which can be used over and over again.

Idea is noble but nation must be cautious that it should not prove a burden, liability too big to handle.

Here it must be noted that poor people need timely and quality healthcare support but that is not necessary in luxurious big hospitals. Quality healthcare can be provided very cheap in simple hospitals which may not be luxurious but provide good treatment.

Money going in premium can instead be used in building secondary and tertiary level hospitals. One must remember that instead of making few huge hospitals which become too crowded, there should be more number of hospitals, smaller but easy to reach and more useful.

Scheme of Wellness Center is good. Such centers must have OT as well so that most of the cases can be handled there itself.

Treatment must be divided into two categories in these hospitals.
- Free for BPL people
- Nominal charges from lower income group people

A lot of emphasis must be there on prevention of sickness and cheap alternative treatment. Healthy diet, clean water, low pollution, regular exercise, yoga, ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy can help in a big way in both prevention and early treatment of sickness. This can reduce burden on conventional treatment.

Let there be healthcare assets in nation that can help citizens year after year.
