Where is nationalism

Before we talk, we must ask our self.

Where is our nationalism? What has happened to our courage? What has happened to our self respect?

Is this the same land of Shivaji, Rana Pratap, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh and Chandra Shekhar Azad? We have blood flowing in our blood vessels or it has become water? What shamelessness? Alas ! a part mother land  of courageous warriors is slave but no soul is burning in fire.

And we talk about nationalism !

We are the only country where a part of mother land is occupied by other countries and no body seems to bother. A part of our nation is still slave and no one is concerned. How can sons of Mother India sleep when part of mother land is occupied by others.

No one has any right to talk about nationalism till we make our mother land free. Infact no one has any right to talk about nationalism till we achive:
- Complete freedom of motherland
- Elimination of hunger and poverty deaths
- Elimination of injustice to poor and downtrodden
- Elimination of crime against children and women

And the worst part is that we seek opportunity to talk big and claim I am right, you are wrong. This is not how a nation is built. God has blessed India with everything. Soldiers are doing their best on borders. Thousands have made ultimate sacrifice in wars for motherland. Is that in vain? Have we played our role? This is land of Krishna who taught not to be cowards and to fight for Rights and Dharma. But are we fighting for our nation? Where is the passion and fire?

We can not and must not cite glory of ancestors until we prove we are capable of taking that glory higher. India must identify its might and create more. We have all the elements of might. All we need to do is to put these elements at right place in right perspective. There is no need to feel any weakness. Never negotiate on mother land. Never give any undue advantage to them. Deal tough with consistency. We should have no talks, no business with those who work against us, who have grabbed our mother land. We must get focused on our goal of reclaiming our mother land and stop all misadventures by them. All this can be done by peaceful measures. Truth and Strength is on our side. We must think talk and act strong.

Nation must not forget its self respect. We must raise our head high and ask accept only and only dignified behavior by others.

Shake up and wake up India.

Justice must be done

No innocent should be held guilty and those guilty must be punished as per law.


Justice must be done and should neither be delayed or denied. Feeling and perception of injustice is detrimental for society.

We need to work on the entire chain from police, investigation, legal system and judiciary. Some of the points we need to immediately work upon are:

- Time. Justice should not take so many years. Cases must be settled within two years.

- Everyone must be accountable for the responsibility about procedure and norms. If they have not done their duty properly then they should be held accountable with civil and criminal negligence.

- Only one advocate per side must be allowed. It is unfair that one side has one advocate and other team of advocates.

- In criminal case if investigation is not upto the standard then court must transfer this to team of higher officials, CBI or SIT.

Justice is basic need of every individual. Just like food and security. Injustice leads to frustration and loss of honor for system. We must make efforts to uplift the system of justice. This will give citizens a feeling of confidence and will help in nation building.

How to check pollution

Why everything becomes such a big and difficult task?

Pollution is indeed one major concern today. Closely linked to it is congestion in major cities. Everyone is concerned. Then why it is so difficult to manage? Will such steps like cutting traffic by allowing odd even number vehicles help?

To answer one must understand what has led to this. There is a big difference between planned development and unplanned development. The situation that we see today is due to unplanned development. When things are allowed to grow without checks and regulations, such a state is inevitable. In order to make things better we have to follow the path of planned development.

Some of the steps that are well know and must be implemented are:

- Close or shift industries and thermal plants out of city area
- Plant more trees and develop more green belts
- Reduce emission from vehicles by raising norms
- Eliminate vehicles older than 10 years
- Reduce red lights as much possible
- Vacuum and clean roads
- Fill up kutchcha area with grass and trees
- Bypass mandatory for traffic not meant for city
- Develop extensive eco friendly public transport
- Strict law against crop or waste burning
- Crackers and Fireworks must be prohibited
- Diesel use must be eliminated from private use as in vehicles or gensets
- Eco friendly heating during winters must be promoted 
- Strict implementation of laws for better waste management


But for lasting solution we can do following:


-  Well planned development of cities with strict laws
-  Fix population density of every area.
-  Dwelling units in every region and city must be restricted.
-  Only one car per dwelling unit must be allowed
-  Zero tolerance and No parking and no unauthorized construction on road sides. Widen roads. This will ease out traffic.
-  Zero tolerance and No parking space for private vehicles in any office and shopping areas. People going to offices and shopping area must use public transport and cab pools. Only people of 50 years plus or with sickness or differently able be allowed cab pools. Rest must use public transport. This single step can reduce congestion and pollution.
-  Buses for work place. Most of the traffic congestion is due to office goers using cars. With easy and comfortable buses available at convenient time people will be encouraged to use buses.
-  Redistribution of office working hours and two days off per week on separate days to prevent clogging of roads.
-  Private vehicles to pay heavy traffic tax. This can be added to petrol. This will encourage people to use public transport and stop avoidable use of private vehicles.

These steps if implemented can give long term solution of congestion and pollution problem.

This debate on Tolerance and Intolerance must stop now.

Be cautious not to fall in this trap of negativity. Bad incidents and statements are bad but that does not define nation. India is a tolerant nation with tolerant people. Trust the people of India. They have stood test of time and will always do so.

We all talk about what is wrong with us. We all talk about how others should change and correct themselves. Worst part is we are behaving as if we belong to two or three groups instead of one nation. Result is a sad blame game and negativity.

Keep politics apart from nation building. We can not make India till we indulge in blame game. We need to merge our energy. Stay Awake Stay One.

- Stop blame game. We must look at our self and do our best in nation building.

- Stop what is wrong. Let us condemn and protest what is wrong in one voice. Every wrong act, every wrong incident, every wrong statement must be condemned and protested by all of us as one.  

- Let government work. Prime Minister and Government does not belong to any political party. They represent nation. They must receive complete support in nation building. Any analysis must be done at the completion of the term.

- Stop digging past. We can not move forward if we keep digging past. That will only create conflicts. We must focus on present challenges to make a strong nation.

- Focus on harmony and elimination of corruption. We must remain cautious and do not allow any thing that damages harmony in nation. Lack of harmony is the biggest damaging cause for any nation. Similarly corruption eats away the possibility of progress. We all must remain alert to eliminate corruption from our life.

- Let there be uniform development. People and places lagging in development must receive extra push to bring them at par. Elimination of poverty is our biggest challenge.

- Always remember that a part of our motherland is occupied by other countries. We must resolve to work hard and united till free that part from others. We can do this through peaceful means if we remain united and committed to this cause. That is our one of the biggest test of nationalism.

The path is clear. We must think talk and act in sync. We are not groups. We are one nation.

Let rich nurture the under priviledged

India can eliminate poverty, quickly.

India can make good use of combination of Adarsh Gram Yojna and Adopt a Village Scheme.  Villages and JJ Clusters in cities can undergo quick redevelopment if these two are used in well planned manner.  Just like MP's are adopting villages, let villages and JJ Clusters get adopted by NRI's and rich citizens of India.

To make it better development of every village and JJ Cluster should follow a minimum basic system of sanitation, education, healthcare, environment and other basic amenities. The cost must be calculated. There must be online and offline availability of villages to be adopted. This should be allowed for corporates, individuals and even groups of individuals. Cost must be divided so that even common man can adopt a share of it. For example 100 people with small contribution can adopt a village.

This scheme if well implemented can eliminate poverty and suffering from entire India in shortest possible time. This will also eliminate poverty suicides, undernourishment and other diseases. This in long run will prove a big step in nation development. 

Ban of porn sites is welcome

Governments decision to ban porn websites is a welcome step. It is necessary and must be followed in complete spirit and action.

Some people are not in favor of ban. They talk about freedom. They feel it is not government's job to ban. They even say why to ban porn. Let people decide.

This is not correct. They have very superficial view of freedom. It is definitely government's job to see what is going on in country. Government must see what is harmful. When government ban a food product because it has poisonous content to body then government must also ban things poisonous to mind.

Who are these people who are favoring porn in the name of freedom. What is their idea of pleasure. Why are they so keen on pornography? Do they know how much this stuff is harming minds of people especially young minds. Their typical argument is that even before internet and TV, there were sexual crimes. But they do not realize the alarming rate this has reached. Western world has seen the bad impact of excessive sexual content in media.  They are now demanding to walk nude on road. All in the name of freedom.

Both mind and body can be nurtured into health or disorder. It depends on kind of feed. A healthy feed, be it for body or mind, is of utmost importance to create health of mind and body. Healthy citizens forms the foundation of any nation. Government has responsibility to make sure that nation's atmosphere remain healthy and positive. It is absolutely necessary for the government to check and throw out weeds from the society.

Self discipline is best but everyone does not observe that. Rising crime rate is indicative of that. If fast track courts are necessary so is necessary ban on porn sites. In fact it must better and preventive action. This should be supported by encouraging positive and healthy activities.

Watching porn is not going to make healthy citizens, healthy family, healthy society or healthy nation. Is there one example of a great human being who became great because of watching porn?

Remember him through action

 APJ Sir was one of the rare human beings with combination of humanity, intellect and leadership. He has left best example for people to learn how to live a life.

This is often seen. We remember our heroes post departure. We call them great and say other big things. The real thing remain missing.

Action

He did all he could. And all that was real action, real achievements. If we feel gratitude then we must work on his vision and do real things to improve quality of life of the people. Otherwise words are hollow.

One can learn from other nations which have done well. These are similar to what he emphasized. Some of the common factors for nation's success are:

- Research and Knowledge : In every aspect of life and to make things better. Knowledge forms the basis of growth.
- System : An efficient system must be in place
- Talent : Nurture talent as nation's asset.
- Hard work : Nothing can substitute hard work.
- Beautification : Beautify life and nation. How we keep our nation tells a lot about our attitude towards nation.

These elements are crucial for every nation's growth. If we are honest in gratitude towards him then we must bring action into these elements.

Are we?

Nurture new generation

Children forms the next generation.

Are we taking care of next generation. Are we doing enough to save them from evils of life? Are we doing enough to make them strong wise positive citizens.

Human beings have tremendous potential. Schools are good, books are good but that is not enough. Unfortunately all this prove insufficient.

We need to do more. We need to pay more attention. We need to have more ideas.

Pregnancy - Healthy pregnancy is foundation. Every couple must be counselled about healthy pregnancy. Factors like parent's health, spacing and timing of pregnancy, nutrition, supplements, regular checkup, care of emotions all must be addressed. A healthy child will only develop into a healthy citizen.

Parenting - Early years are crucial. Home atmosphere, relationship between mother and father and among siblings, nutrition, physical activity, play activities, developments of social skills, solving development difficulties must be addressed.

Neighborhood - Children must be encouraged to reduce time spent on gadgets. They must be encouraged to spend quality time at home and in neighborhood. RWA must ensure adequate indoor and outdoor places for children. Every locality must have library to which every member of locality may contribute.

School - Schools can play big role in development of citizens. Quality meaningful education, life skill development, physical mental social development, creativity, thinking ability, exposure to highest standards of life. Children must spend more time at school. Homework must be abolished. Time at school must be used more effectively.

Upto Primary School - Day boarding till atleast 9 hours at school.
Middle School - Week boarding. Weekend may be spent at home.
High School - Full boarding. Only major holidays and twice a year long holidays.

School time must be used effectively. It should be used for knowledge, development of sporting skills, development of art and creativity, personality development, development of civic sense, development of healthy nationalism and other qualities that makes good and strong citizens. Human qualities, soft skills, care of physical and mental health, respect for others, for culture, for nation and for humanity and other aspects must be addressed.

If we create good citizens, great nation is not far away.

Kashmir belongs to India

Then why not fight stronger for it.

War is no solution. And no country should go for war. But that does not mean we remain quiet on this. Which country can remain silent if part of it is occupied by others.

The fact is Kashmir belongs to India and part of our motherland is occupied by Pakistan and China. Is it fair on part of Pakistan and China to keep other nation's land. Every Indian feel strongly about this. This is pain in every heart of India.

India returned the land it had won in war. We do not want other's land. But others too should not occupy our land. Being too good has been misused by others. Mahatma Gandhi said that those who tolerate wrong are more responsible for wrong. He also said that there are always peaceful and correct ways of resisting wrong.

We must raise strong peaceful actions to reclaim part of India occupied by Pakistan and China. For this path of Mahatma Gandhi was correct.

- We must unitedly, strongly and actively insist on and voice truth i.e. it is our land.
- We must raise this issue of recovery of our land prominently in talks with Pakistan and China.
- We must stop calling Pak Occupied Kashmir or China Occupied Kashmir. Instead we must call Pakistan Occupied Land of India and China Occupied Land of India.
- People of India must commit to goal of Complete India.
- We must raise ourself to strength and pledge to undo this injustice peacefully but strongly.

Mother makes lots of sacrifices for children. Mother India has done far too many. We, the children of India, must realize our responsibility.

We owe it our mother land.

Purpose of a nation

A nation becomes a great nation by great management.

India must realize that greatness of civilization is we are all proud of but now we must focus on present and future. And for that we need comprehensive collective management. We need unity in management right from village level to top.

We must discover purpose of a nation.

Today we have people at extremes of social strata. Some are very rich and some are very poor. The government must try to bridge this gap without affecting nation's progress. This is possible by three level of governance:
- Governance of let grow for rich so that they can grow further and contribute more towards nation's progress.
- Governance of support for middle class which is ready to rise higher but need some support in the form of better conditions and opportunities.
- Governance of nurture for under privileged who need to be thoroughly nurtured.

All this require careful planning and management. Few basic steps urgently required are:

1.  Cut wastage - eliminate corruption and harmonize management from village level to big cities. Eliminate duplicate institutions to make system more effective. Blind privatization will never serve the purpose. Resources must be managed carefully to eliminate wastage.

2. Strengthen institutions - no management is possible with weak inefficient machinery. Institutions must be reorganized as commissions and given liberty to work efficiently.

3. Human resource - nation is of the people for the people by the people. If that is so then how can nation grow if its people are not strong. Health and education are and will always be core of any nation's development. Massive effort is required to upgrade health and education status of people.

4. Infrastructure - this is backbone of development. We must make sure to have international standards of infrastructure.

5. Innovation - government must have ideas to work upon. There are various innovative ways which can be employed to improve quality of life and boost development.

The time has come to shift focus on greatness of nation's purpose nation's management.

Time to press panic button

It is more important to do things before disaster strikes. Because every life is precious.

This is time to press panic button. India must draw sincere time bound plan to handle disasters. Life of millions is at stake. We should not wait for the disaster to happen. We must do following immediately:

- Declare a deadline and after that all construction in entire nation must be strictly on legal terms and earthquake resistant.
- Existing structures must be taken up for strengthening and making them earthquake resistant in time bound manner. This should apply to all structures be it personal or public.
- Sensitive zones must be given priority based on assessment of sensitivity.
- Disaster management must become more efficient and general public especially in sensitive zones must be trained to handle such situations. Locality based workshops may prove helpful.

This is time to act in a hurry.

Public Utility Services

One question faces India today. What should be the driving force for development - the capitalism or the socialism?

India is big country and a big section of population is still struggling for basic amenities. There is need of rapid development as well as availability of basic amenities at affordable prices. In this scenario if the situation is left totally on market and let the corporates decide the fate then there is risk of market manipulation. On the other hand a complete socialist model may not yield desired result of development. It is not desirable for any government to run the business.

So what is the right way forward. There is one solution which can help in harmonizing both factors and yield desired results.

Public Utility Service Commission PUSC

We can have autonomous  PUSC bodies for various public utilities. For example :
- Electricity
- Water and Sewerage
- Roads
- Telecommunication
- Petrol and Diesel
- Food material
- Healthcare
- Education

These commissions will do the macro management. Being autonomous these will work in more swift and result oriented manner. In addition free from all political compulsions these bodies can take care of all sections of society on the basis of actual need and availability. The corporates will play their part under supervision of these bodies in a fair, transparent, accountable and level playing manner. The supervision of PUSC and the market factors then will balance each other to give best results in efficient manner.

India needs harmony of socialism and capitalism. We must understand capital has no value without development ready population and vice versa. Both needs to nourish each other instead of exploiting each other. The harmony and balance is the key forward. This will give real development of entire population as well as will give big business growth. 

Right Goal Right Path

No nation can develop if it sets wrong goals or move on wrong path. And also no nation can develop by confused mindset.

If a nation wish to progress, there should be no doubt or conflict about goals and path. That is what people call vision. Do we have vision for our nation. Vision for Modern Developed Glorified India.

What kind of nation we wish to develop. How do we see India 50 years later. 

Nationalism
Nation must speak in one voice. And this should be with strength. There should be no hesitation, no meekness. There should be no discussion with people who talk or act against national interest or integrity. We need to have strong determination and passion for nation. There should be no hesitation is dealing strongly against anti nation thoughts and acts. First thing a nation needs is commitment of its people. We must have efficient intelligence and strong defense services capable of handling all kinds of threats and warfare. Above all we must have strong will to safeguard our nation and national interests.

Health
We need to invest high in health of people. A sick nation can never progress. Diseases, addictions and malnutrition can spoil any amount of planning for progress. Nation needs people with physical and mental toughness. Only healthy people can efficiently take part in nation building.


Education
Education does not mean degrees. Spending few years in school and colleges is not enough. We must have education system that can help in promoting wisdom, value system, life skills, creativity and mental development to be the best in the world. We need to take care of children right from the beginning. We need to have world best schools and universities.


Religion
Religion can both make or break nation. There are plenty of proofs. Religion must transform with growing times to remain a guiding source towards positive humanity. Whenever religion does not grow and goes into transformation, it causes regressive mindset and ultimate destruction of nation. Religion must remain compatible with modern life. Religion must rise above particular way of dressing, customs, rituals and beliefs. It must focus on universal spirituality, positive humanity, honesty, integrity, brotherhood, mutual respect, kindness, compassion and strength of character to save weaker and pursue higher purpose of life.

Freedom to live
Like human beings, nation must develop a progressive identity. It must support free and fearless life to its people. Safety from crimes and corruption, equality of gender, freedom of expression, freedom of identity including sexual identity, honorable existence and other basic elements of dignified life. Freedom itself will generate sense of responsibility and self discipline. 

Poverty Elimination and Development
Only when above mentioned goals are achieved, we can have meaningful progress leading to holistic development. Chaotic and confused activity, half hearted or piecemeal approach, wrong goals, wrong path, wrong speech can not yield good results for nation. Only well defined well planned well executed action can result in good result.

Those who feel for the nation must come together and take responsibility of nation. They must set right goals right path right action in place. The question is - Can we rise above selfish interest and work for nation, together ???

Edu Hubs

Youth is future.

True but are we doing enough for them? They face life challenge and challenge of building nation but we must ask ourself that are we helping them enough in development. They need wholesome development. They have the potential for creating a great nation. But our youth need guidance and proper conditions so that they can develop as strong, mature, wise and skillful citizens.

This is where something must be done. We must create Edu Hubs - The dedicated cities for youth.

These Edu Hubs or Edu Cities must be developed new away from present cities exclusively for education and skill development of youth starting from post school and higher. The Edu Hubs must have universities, colleges, institutes, training centres, libraries, hostels, cultural centres etc all focused on whole some development of youth. It must be compulsory for students to become residents of the place. Only students, teachers and other required staff must be allowed to be a part of the hub. The entire place must have fool proof security so that students can focus on education without any stress.

The hubs will have all facilities for wholesome development of youth. These includes health centres, cultural centres and other places for complete physical, intellectual, social and spiritual development. Every state must have atleast one such Edu Hub for youth. Youth after completing their school would get enrolled here and come out as developed world class citizens. They would be ready physically and mentally to take up the role of responsible citizens of the nation.

These Edu Hubs can also invite students from other nations. This will create jobs, bring in foreign exchange and help our youth to develop global outlook.

Edu Hubs can prove as building blocks of nation.

Loyalty to nation

Loyalty to nation can not be a grey area.

How can a nation grow and be happy if its people are not loyal to nation. So if we feel that our nation must become stronger, must grow and be the best then we must ask ourself are we loyal to our nation?

Either one is loyal to nation or one is not. It can not be 50-50. We every moment express our loyalty to nation in words deed and intentions. Saluting national flag is good but that alone is not sufficient. Most of us care more for selfish interest.

Words
How often people say such things which are damaging for society and nation. Why do we allow this. Such words harm nation more that they appear to. The kind of negativity these sets in the mindset is deep. This causes later much damage in the form of corruption, crimes, terrorism and other anti national activities. This must be checked with strictness. Freedom of expression is no excuse for any bad words. Democracy does not mean chaos and recklessness. There must be strict laws to curb such words. Discipline is important and much more in democracy. No nation can remain happy and grow without discipline. Discipline of tongue is the most basic discipline. Those loyal to nation display loyalty through speech. We must be watchful of our words. No harm is small. We must see our words are not harmful to other people, to institutions, to society and to nation at large.

Deeds
This tells how we treat our nation. This reveals our true identity. Pride of nation or traitor. On one extreme we have soldiers sacrificing life for nation and on other extreme we have anti national elements. Within this range we are there in our daily life. We do small things but these small things too are good or bad for nation. These small things like everyday corruption, breaking laws or harming others by being deceitful are also anti nation activities. Small activities make national character and decide how we perform as nation. Just like if cells of body are unhealthy entire body will become unhealthy. Similarly if we are not honest and hard working, we harm our nation. Unfortunately many people display as if they are loyal to nation but their deeds are contrary.

How much we debate about the problems our nation is facing. Poverty, hunger, lack of development, crimes, corruption and many more. But we just talk big and blame others. Explore within. Are we loyal to nation in words, deeds and intentions. Is mere wishful thinking that our nation should become great is going to help? No. If we are serious about nation then we must discipline our words and deeds. We have collective responsibility towards nation building.

Collective wisdom

Wisdom must prevail......

What are we doing to our nation. Where is the system which can take care of crimes, corruption, poverty, social disharmony and other problems faced by the nation. And where are the people who must rise to the occasion, shed personal differences and unitedly create the system which is so crucial for a nation, much more for a nation like us.  

India is a big nation. And with the kind of diversity we have, it is very important for the nation to develop collective wisdom. We have a big population and people will have different view points. But this does not mean we let go our higher mission of nation building. Nation building and creating a system that will cause nation building is higher than anything else and everyone must bow to it.

People may have different ideas and ways. But when it comes to nation building, we can not afford chaos. We must come together, discuss and adopt a policy approved by majority. This collective wisdom must include all, those in government and those not. Nation must formulate policies and protocols for everything. Experts of every field must contribute in formulating these policies and protocols. Once these are in place, we all must adhere to the system. There should not be any confusion or conflict.

Problems can not be solved unless we develop effective and efficient system. And such a system can not be created unless wise and developed brains of the nation sincerely come together. We continue to crib and feel bad about nation. We shout and claim that we have ideas and can do so much for nation. We debate and discuss only to blame others and find faults. Sad but true, that is not how a nation can can work and grow.

Nation is lacking not because of problems. Nation is lacking because wise people of nation are not coming together sincerely. Either they are too busy in own life or they go in conflict. Real progress will come only when developed wise brains will come together sincerely and work together without ego or prejudice. Then only we can create an efficient and effective system. Then only we will win over problems. Till then we will only discuss and find faults.

Are we ready for collective wisdom ? Are we ready for nation building ? 

Development with care for all

Why do we need to go in conflict for every issue. Nation must get mature to face and resolve issues in holistic manner which is helpful for all. There are always better options available which can satisfy all concerned. For this we all need to apply towards a holistic solution.

The issue of Land Acquisition can be resolved without conflict if we apply our self. The issue involves two major aspects:
- Need of land for development.
- Need of land owners

The need and argument of both sides is valid. Development is necessary and for that land is required. At the same time we need to be fair to land owners. Any feeling of injustice will harm nation's harmony and will prove detrimental to very purpose that is growth and development. But this can be resolved if we look for a solution that takes care of need of both sides.

One such solution can be as follows.

Suppose 100 units of land is required. The owners of this land form a group called Original Land Owners OLO in proportion of their share of land. The second group can be government or actual users forming second group called Actual Land Users ALU. The OLO will have 49% ownership rights and ALU will have 51% ownership rights. ALU will pay two times market price or four times circle rate to OLO as upfront charges and annual land use charges which will be distributed among OLO members in proportion of their land share. The annual charge will work as annual income of OLO members. This annual charge should be converted into proportionate equity share in business developed on that land. ALU will have full right over land use. There will not be any time limit of land use. If ever ALU decides to sell their rights to third party, the entire profit will go to OLO if the sale is within ten years. If the sale is after ten years then the profit will be divided as 51% to ALU and 49% to OLO. This will eliminate possibility of profit making from land acquisition. In this solution land owners will never have feeling of injustice, their needs are taken care and the land users get unrestricted right to use land for development.

Another solution can be. This can be used when land is being acquired for government use or national interest.


Suppose 100 units of land is required. In this case 200 units of land must be acquired. Half of it that is 100 units can be used for government use or national interest and second half that is 100 units must be clubbed together as collective farm. The owners of entire 200 units now own this 100 units in proportionate share. This can be used for collective farming using latest technology. This will help land owners get high yield which will be almost equal to their original land yield. In addition, land owners will get two times of market price or four times circle rate of the total land acquired and fixed annual income. There will be no time limit of land use. This will encourage collective farming in addition to much required development.

Future India belongs to hi-tech modern development and technology based collective farming. In both solutions the original owners are getting two times market price along with annual income. They also have some land ownership. The land users get unrestricted land use. Both purpose of nation development and land owners rights are well taken care.

Let us work towards solutions which encourages development for all.

Organized development

India is on the path of development. This is an on going process but there must be careful planning to achieve the real goal of organized development. Piecemeal or half hearted approach will not produce desired goal.

This can be achieved in time bound efficient and effective manner. We must accept that within available resources we could have achieved much better development. It should have been more organized and systematic. We can and we must still apply our self to create a modern developed India. To do this we need to have twin approach to development.

1. New development
2. Redo development

New development should apply to everything developing a fresh. It could be a building, a colony, an airport, a stadium or a new city. This new development must clear all criteria modern hi-tech hi-class development with inbuilt scope of future changes and extensions. For example new cities must be cleared only with high rise buildings with eco-friendly system. No illegal or even less satisfactory development must be allowed. This should apply to entire nation with vision of future India.

Redo development should apply to all existing India. A lot of existing development is in bad shape. It continue to cause bad effect on citizen's and nation's progress. It should not be left to crumble. With a target of next fifty years or so nation must rebuild itself  slowly and steadily thereby converting existing low quality development into modern hi-tech and hi-class development.

To do these in organized manner the entire scheme of development must be divided into two broad divisions.

- Structure development
- Function development

Both these must further be done on scheme of - Unit Development. 

Nation must further organize development of both structure development and function development in units and subunits. The existing units of states, districts, cities and villages can be accommodated in this scheme. Similarly existing functional units like transport, communication etc can be accommodated in new functional development. Those units lagging behind must be given special attention. The ideas and experience of successful units and subunits must be shared and implemented.

These four corners - structural development, functional development, new development and redo development must be cautiously and systematically merged together to create a modern developed India.

This is achievable target. This requires good planning and coordination of all possible agencies at both national and state level. But above all this requires strong determination and will power of people of India to create a Modern Developed Glorified India. Let's do it.

Holistic Homogenous Development

India has its task cut out. And the task is vital and huge.

Nation must define and design its development which should be Holistic and Homogenous.

Holistic Development - There is a wrong trend emerging that is to measure development only in terms of materialistic elements. No one can deny importance of money but this is very narrow definition of development. The real development must cover various elements of human life as:
- Cultural development
- Intellectual development
- Civic and Social development
- Financial development
- Infrastructure development
- Development of institutions and system
- Development of health and education
- Environment development

Homogenous Development - India is suffering from the development gap syndrome. The kind of gap seen in development level of various sections of society is enormous and is responsible for creating a chaotic society. Though everyone can not be completely equal in any society but the gap should not be so huge that it alienates people. Most of the problems we are facing today are due to these huge gaps. Homogenous development is crucial for making a healthy society.

Two things will play big role in this
- Strong and efficient institution based system
- Innovative ideas to spur high speed well directed development

Recent elections have confirmed that people of India are very much focused towards speedy and result oriented development. They are voting strongly and positively for development.

We as citizens must make best of our efforts to develop our self and our surroundings. We must all pool our minds and efforts to create a developed India. Nation building is our task and we all must contribute.

Correct wrongs

Are we becoming immune to wrongs in society?

This is becoming a dangerous trend and much more for a nation like ours. Media is reporting about crimes and those are horrible. They remain as news for few days and gone. We move on as next follows. After Nirbhaya we had demonstrations and even a new law. But what has changed.

Crimes are no less that terrorism. The extent of loss of human life and suffering is no less. 

What is wrong?  Is this due to police or policies or society itself?

Everything and everyone is responsible. It can not be blamed to one thing or agency. But the most disturbing aspect is the kind of apathy shown by society. Either there is no action or at best some piecemeal action. Task is becoming bigger everyday. Helplessness is the universal element.

How can a nation like ours with such brilliant people become so helpless? Why we are so helpless in creating a safe society for people? Why can't everyone including politicians, those in police and judiciary, social activists, teachers and others come together and formulate a comprehensive strategy to tackle crimes universally.

This is not difficult. We need to first get rid of 'not my work or duty' attitude. It is everyone's duty. Everyone must contribute. Secondly we have to get rid of helplessness. This is not big task if we all pool our mind and efforts. We all must come together and formulate a nationwide strategy to combat crimes. We have to now stop and make sure that we do not just 'move on'. No, we should not. We have to stop and say 'not any more'.

And how we can do that:

- Nationwide proactive policies as done in case of terrorism
- Intelligence and Vigilance
- Coordination among agencies
- Social security number and tab on 'doubtfuls' and early reforms
- Better updated laws, policing, courts and judiciary
- Media focus on facts and remedy
- Healthy education in schools with focus on personality development
- Check on media, TV, movies, internet to control obscenity and vulgarity

All that is required is to wake up to challenge and work collectively.
