Last one year has seen substantial change in India and Indian democracy. Going through agitations, court orders and public opinion, India could gain following major steps towards a better democracy and a better society:
- New law against Crime Against Women
- Right to Reject in elections
- Right to Food
- Supreme Court order on Representation of the People Act
And when on 2nd October, the ordinance and the bill to counter Supreme Court order was taken back, it came as a great victory of India and the People of India. There could not have been a greater homage to Mahatma Gandhi on this special day.

It is required now that all wise and mature people from all sections of society to come together and develop a comprehensive development program for Modern India. The Modern India can not take birth in conflicts and chaos. The minds and hearts in India must work in sync. There is need of collective wisdom to create:
- Vision and Mission of Modern India
- Set with firmness the goals and path
- Nurture cohesiveness and spirit
- Identify urgent and long term needs
- Identify strengths and weaknesses
- Assess and manage resources
- Design and develop effective workable plans
- Promote cooperation in place of conflicts
- Evaluate at regular intervals to assess real progress and required amendments
Since ages India is known for wisdom. It is high time we realize our real wealth, the wisdom to create a Modern Glorified India.
