Who cares for national game?
There is so much excitement about cricket in India. Nothing wrong or bad if people are happy about a game and success India gets in it. Although it seems strange that beating same old 6 - 8 teams we become world champions. Sheer madness.
But what has happened to other games. We are nowhere in football, in Olympics our performance is bad. And hockey our national game? We are fighting to be relevant. What has happened to our self respect. Why we are nowhere in other games? We are one fifth of earth's population but why don't we have one fifth champions?
